Biography

Vlad became versed in many areas of substantive law at Osgoode Hall Law School. He articled at a mid-town litigation boutique assisting clients with employment matters and immigration appeals. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. Vlad went on to practice at a well-known a plaintiff side personal injury firm in Toronto frequently appearing before the Superior Court of Justice and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. He now assists clients in various civil litigation matters.

Before attending law school, Vlad studied Greek and Latin at the Classics Department of the University of Toronto. He is a recipient of the Dorothy Ellison Scholarship in Latin and Eric Trevor Owen Scholarship in Greek graduating with a Gold Medal in the Arts. While in law school, Vlad wrote an academic article about public environmental trusts which was published in the Journal of Environmental Law & Practice. His article has since been cited by the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and la Cour supérieure du Québec.

In his free time Vlad enjoys the outdoors, English, American and Russian novels. He is fluent in Russian.
